On July 8th, our Estonian partners organised the Baltic Sea pilot presentation. It was part of the Farmer’s day at The Centre of Estonian Rural Research and Knowledge (METK). First, NUTRI introduced itself and gave an overview of the SEA2LAND project. It was followed by a short presentation of bio-based fertilizers (BBFs) with a particular focus on the method and application of the Baltic Sea´s products. Next, the group of 30 was divided into two for feedback and discussion regarding the farmers´ main problems and their opinions on BBFs. Finally, METK introduced the SEA2LAND field trials and presented the excellent growth of broccoli under the project´s BBFs.
